Christopher D. Friez is an associate in the firm specializing in the practice of natural resources law and general law practice. Christopher graduated With Honors from North Dakota State University in 2002. He then obtained a law degree, With Distinction, from the University of North Dakota in 2005. Christopher was elected to Order of the Coif, published a note on North Dakota=s Campaign Finance Laws in the North Dakota Law Review, and served as an associate editor of the North Dakota Law Review.
During his third year of law school, Christopher interned with the North Dakota Legislative Council during the 2005 legislative session where he was responsible for attending committee hearings, conducting research, and drafting legislation and amendments to legislation. Following graduation from law school, Christopher served as judicial law clerk, for one year, to Chief Justice Gerald W. VandeWalle, Chief Justice of the North Dakota Supreme Court. Upon the completion of his clerkship, Christopher began working for Fleck, Mather, & Strutz.
Christopher is admitted to practice in the State of North Dakota. He is a member of the Big Muddy Bar Association, Inns of Court, the State Bar Association of North Dakota, the American Bar Association, and the Landman's Association of North Dakota.
