Shane A. Hanson is a shareholder specializing in the practice of natural resources law and real property law. He is a 1992 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Jamestown College, and in 1996, he obtained his law degree with distinction from the University of North Dakota School of Law.
Upon receiving his law degree, Shane immediately began working for Fleck, Mather & Strutz, Ltd. Shane has extensive experience in the preparation of title opinions and specializes in the preparation of drilling title opinions and division order title opinions. Additionally, he has worked in the areas of oil and gas litigation, commercial law, complex litigation, bankruptcy, debtor/creditor relations, family law, and general litigation.
Shane is admitted to practice in the state of North Dakota, the U.S. Federal District Court and the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the Landman's Association of North Dakota, the Real Property and Probate Section of the North Dakota State Bar Association, and the Natural Resources and Environment Section and the Probate and Real Property Section of the American Bar Association. Shane is also a contributing author to West's Bankruptcy Exemption Manual.
