Mike joined the firm in January 2001 after fifteen years of general litigation practice in eastern Montana and southwestern North Dakota. He has successfully defended claims for personal injury, wrongful death, and property damage including claims of professional malpractice (medical, dental, architectural), product liability, automobile liability, and premises liability. Mike now specializes in civil litigation with an emphasis in the defense of medical and dental malpractice claims.
Mike obtained his undergraduate degree (cum laude) from the University of North Dakota and his law degree (cum laude) from the University of Idaho College of Law. He is admitted to practice in the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals and all state and federal courts in North Dakota and Montana. He is a member of the Defense Research Institute, North Dakota Defense Lawyers Association, and the North Dakota and Montana State Bar Associations.
